“In “The Twilight Symphony” series each painting marks a departure from my usual rhythm. My approach has always been to set the scene with a vibrant spray paint base, letting it dictate the mood before my acrylics enter the conversation. But this time, it was the acrylics that took the lead. Bold, unrestrained strokes laid the initial thoughts onto the canvas, challenging my comfort zone and inviting a fresh, spontaneous dialogue with my materials.

This shift wasn’t just a change in technique; it felt like a new way of communicating through my art style. I was used to a certain order, a methodical build-up of layers, but here I was, starting with what normally came last. The freedom of the acrylics brought a vibrant spontaneity.Once the composition was set, the spray paint came into play, adding nuances, fades and depth. This back-and-forth became a dance of sorts, like a push and pull that evolved over hours and days into something unexpected. More layers, more grit.

The journey was raw and honest. Each piece is a step through the unknown – the creation of unexpected results.”The Twilight Symphony” is a conversation in color and emotion—a narrative told in the language of paint where each piece has its own unique dialogue of struggles and triumphs. I honestly think I’ve been through most of the emotional spectrum with “The Twilight Symphony.” With several of the pieces, I was almost ready to give up, thinking it was hopeless for a long time, but I’m glad I continued the journey.”
