The Ocean Breeze Paintings

“The color scheme of my Ocean Breeze paintings has meticulously been developed with a lot of thoughts and trial and error. I kept experimenting with a wide range of nuances and especially the multi colored brush strokes are swiped in a very specific way loaded with my own recipe of acrylic mixes on the palette knife.
Once the color scheme was set I felt free to create unexpected results, just free flowing gestural brush strokes and ompositions.
Combining chance and planning is one of the things I love the most creating these paintings.
It feels like calm and powerful at the same time. Like the ruthless and fascinating ocean with a gentle sunset breeze.“– Mikael B.
