Mikael B has had a passion for the sea since his early childhood, and through countless diving holidays he has seen how the wealth of the oceans is exploited and outright destroyed. It is, therefore, natural for Mikael to get involved with the work of preserving the oceans, and to use the voice that he has to raise awareness about this distressing issue. Through his art he wants to inspire others to also offer their support.
Collaboration with the Swedish charity organization The Perfect World Foundation is a big step in the work that the Mikael B Foundation wants to accomplish. Being appointed ambassador for the organization, and contributing to the enormous amount of work they do worldwide is a great honor for Mikael.

The Perfect World Foundation is a Swedish charity organization that works internationally. It was founded by the couple Ragnhild & Lars Jacobsson in early 2000. The foundation is fighting to reduce climate change, save endangered species, and preserve the world’s oceans. Overall, they want to improve the world we live in, so there is something to pass on to future generations. The Perfect World Foundation collaborates with other international charities as well as prominent climate campaigners such as Sir David Attenborough, Dr. Sylvia Earle and Dr. Jane Goodall.
