“Now looking back over 20 years ago, I remember the first time I tried spray-painting. It was on wood panels in my parent’s backyard and I instantly fell in love with the wild-style and abstract nature of graffiti art. I’ve been obsessed ever since and strive to continue to challenge myself to create and perfect my own abstract expression. This journey offers me a great sense of purpose, one that I feel with my whole body on a daily basis.
The dynamic process of creating the Swing Symphony paintings represents an atmospheric universe akin to musical visualization. Swinging and bending compositional shapes and lines is something I am accustomed to. To take this ideology just a step further transitions this concept into a visual abstraction and distinctive language. Interpretations are always subjective. It’s up to you to decode, understand, and translate.”
