“When I started the creation of my recent series, “Untamed Spirit” and “Hyper Motion”, I found myself in some kind of a transformative process.
The journey to these pieces was fueled by a lot of preparatory work. Color and composition studies and drawings laid the groundwork for what would become an awakening in my artistic expression. During this period, my studio became a space for both emotional and experimental exploration. I experienced the highest highs and the lowest lows along with a lot of uncertainty. I was looking for something very special in my composition work, and it became clear that the development of these compositions demanded more from me than the actual application of paint. The planning phase was critical, but I also introduced new brushes and techniques that challenged my boundaries and expanded my creative vocabulary.
I’ve spent countless hours with these paintings, simply observing them, and then meticulously planning my next move and the one after that.
“Untamed Spirit” and “Hyper Motion” aren’t just series of paintings. Each stroke and color on these canvases captures a bit of my soul. They’re all about my constant drive to express emotions and movement, to really share what I feel inside, the struggles and wins.“
