“My journey with spray painting began 24 years ago when I started painting graffiti. 10 years ago when I took the leap into my art career, I found myself experimenting with a mix of many different styles – geometric shapes, brush strokes, splashes, and drips. About seven years ago, a natural evolution occurred. My art style split into two distinct paths, each taking on its own identity in an organic and unforced manner.
There are my geometric abstraction and surrealism paintings, featuring razor-sharp, meticulous shapes made with masking tape and a cutting knife, all derived from thorough preparatory drawings and computer sketches.
And then there are my abstract expressionistic paintings made with gestural brush strokes, and essentially approaching the blank canvas to create unexpected results, with little to no preparation.
Navigating between my two art styles has given me a sense of true creative freedom. Diving deep into these contrasting approaches, I’ve continued to experiment, valuing the wild, spontaneous act of creating.
The year 2024 marks a significant milestone in my artistic journey – the awakening of my two different art styles and, for the first time, their combination to form a new, third art style. This evolution wasn’t something I anticipated; it’s more of a revelation, a natural unfolding of my creative path. The “Infinite Awakening” painting stands as the inaugural piece of this new chapter, symbolizing not just the fusion of my artistic endeavors but also the birth of a new realm of expression.“
