Awakened Illumination

“The “Awakened Illumination” paintings are not about the physical light but the inner light that guides us -our intuition and wisdom. The inner voice. The special moment that almost feels like a light bulb that expands to illuminate the corners of my creative world, allowing me to navigate with newfound clarity and purpose. I think the paintings represent a transformative passage in my life as an artist. Light doesn’t just reveal, it transforms”

      Luminous Shadows

“The coexistence of light and dark is something that has always fascinated me. And not as opposing forces but as companions. When I finished the first painting of this series, I thought of the painting as a reflection on the complexity of my own being. So I wanted to dig deeper into that realm and that’s how the series was born. I think that my clearest moments of understanding, my most “luminous” epiphanies, often come to me when I’m dealing with the “shadows” -the doubt, the exploration, the worries and the questioning. Enlightenment is not only the absence of shadow but it often exists because of it.”

            THE PERFECT WORLD

“My most recent painting “The Perfect World” kind of sums of my journey until now. I have been working on this painting for a long time and it’s special to me.
It’s inspired by everything around me, everything I see, hear and feel. In fact everything inspires me, my hardships, my struggles and my success, good times/bad times – I’m thankful for all of it.
It has all led me to a position where I not only get to paint every day, but I also get to help other people and support and donate to causes I believe in.
So “just” painting wasn’t enough for me, I wanted more. I wanted to make a difference. Being an ambassador for TPWF is my way to contribute to making the world a better place. And that’s why I named the painting The Perfect World.
With our initiative, The Attenborough Forest, we plant trees all over the world to save the rainforests, create wildlife habitats, revive biodiversity and fight climate change. Right now, we are well on our way to plant 1,5M trees, but we will not stop there, we will continue as long as we can.
To wake up every day and paint, and to be able to making the world a better place at the same time, is one of the best things I know. I feel it’s my purpose.
-And this painting is not only about imagining a better world, but to create it too.”
